We have changed the pod on the pod mount to a 3/4" square post to save weight and drag. It will be shown in the new instructions.
It is installed the same way as the bigger pod but we are mounting the motor on the motor base that comes with the motor and putting top and bottom bolts or #8 wood screws into the pod to hold the motor in place.
