The Scythe is a 27" micro wing.  It is now being bought by clubs that want an inexpensive but high performance 27" FPV Racer.  See in the videos below how this plane can break the 100 mph mark even though it is only a 27".

The kit comes with 2 planes in the box for $60 including laminate for both planes.  Yes!!! two complete kits for $50 including laminate.  We offer the double kit so you can try different things with each plane.

Even though this plane flies fast we have been pleased with the flying characteristics of this small plane when people want to fly it slow.  I think the biggest surprise is how well it glides even at 8-12 oz AUW.  I designed it to fly like the big planes and it is much closer to their performance than I would have guessed it could be.

The Scythe is made of EPP foam and is tough and durable.  The 27" EPP foam cores and elevons alone only weigh 1.3 oz making this a true micro plane candidate.  How light can you build it????

The 27″ Scythe is the perfect size to take with you and is great for small cars and for flyers with limited space.  It can be built light to fly slow and gentle, or beefed up and turned into a nimble missile.  With a big motor and lots of movement on the elevons it is incredibly maneuverable.  It can have a roll rate as high as 3-4 rolls per second, and can go straight up and fly fast. Everyone watching will feel the adrenaline rush.  Some flyers keep it as light as possible with micro motors and batteries for slow and gentle flight.  Watch the videos and see what this plane can do!!!

You’re getting two Scythes in this one kit. You can build them ultra light for slow and gentle flying (5 oz) or use the same motor and prop as we use on the Assassin and have a ballistic experience (11 oz).  We do cut the prop down to 5.25″ if we use the 2812 motor.

This can be built like a combat plane.  It is designed to be lightweight and incredibly durable and is usually built with the same building techniques we use on full combat planes.  The EPP foam core will deal a blow to a larger plane or even a tree, and keep on flying.

It is a great suitcase plane to take with you when you travel or leave in your car to fly at those times when you wish you had a plane with you.  Watch the videos.  You need a couple of these.  It's a great plane to own that will last.
