Our 62" Grim Reaper XL has a 9" wide extension to give it more room for FPV gear. As shown the plane is flown with a 3530-1400 KV motor, 4500 mA 3S 45-90 C lipo battery and standard servos.
The Grim Reaper XL has a gentle controllable glide. Bigger planes make more stable FPV platforms than smaller planes. The GR-XL shown in the picture above had a 40 minute flight on one 4500 ma 3S battery.
The 55″ Grim Reaper has become a worldwide favorite and top seller in this size. We have been receiving requests for an extension since we first released the design. We chose a 9" extension to give lots of room for batteries and FPV gear.
