I handed my radio to a non flyer and he could fly my Storm Chaser.  This plane is big and gentle.  Even though it is big it is quiet for its size and easy to fly from a smaller flying area that you would expect with this size of a plane.  It is very strong because it is cut from 100% EPP foam which has Nerf like qualities.  It has a pod mounted motor designed to carry FPV equipment. The motor and prop are up out of the way on a pod for safety and to give a good view forward and protect the prop.

New FPV flyers need a plane that is easy to fly.  This plane can fly itself and helps you stay in the air.  It is self stabilizing and flies so well that once trimmed the polyhedral wing will level both the body and the wing without radio input, even in the wind.

We have used the same super strong technology in the Storm Chaser as we have in our combat planes.  This plane will last and is one of the best flying big EPP planes out there.  Watch the videos above and you will see what it can do.

The Storm Chaser comes with a pod mount for the motor for clear forward view for FPV and aerial photography.
  • Why You need a Storm Chaser!!!
  • The Storm Chaser  fuselage, wing, and tail are cut from 100% EPP foam.
  • EPP foam doesn’t crush or dent like EPO and EPS foams.
  • Spars, E-Tape and laminate are super strong but lightweight
  • The Storm Chaser has a 68″ wingspan span that will fit in most small cars.
  • The Storm Chaser has been flown from 4-7 lbs!!! It can carry a load.
  • We recommend that you keep it light for the best performance.
  • The polyhedral wing is my favorite.  It will will level its wings to help you fly the plane.
  • The aileron wing is for precision flying but still has an incredible glide.
  • The polyhedral wing and the aileron wing have the same airfoil.
  • This a big plane that is so stable at slow speed it can be flown in a baseball field.
  • High performance, slow speed stability, high rate of climb, long glide airfoil.
  • The fuselage is a strong solid block of higher density EPP foam that is able to handle hard landings.
  • Instead of building the fuselage, you cut out compartments in the solid fuselage for the radio gear.
  • The pod gets the motor up off the ground and out of the way for FPV cameras.
  • The kit comes with tough clear laminate for fuselage, wing, and tail.
  • Forward facing motors are quieter than pusher props.
  • Hour plus long flights are possible if you build light and manage the throttle.
  • Flying speed range from 10-65 mph.
  • These are very neighbor friendly planes.
You are going to love this plane!!!!
