ROSWELL
$54.95 + S&H |
The 36" Roswell Delta can fly slow without stalling but it still has the top end speed of the Assassin. It has a 36" span making it one of the biggest EPP deltas available. It has more wing area and is easier to see. It has a symmetrical wing and is fully aerobatic. The motor is well protected in the middle of the plane.
It is a tough plane and can take the abuse. We have a club that uses the Roswell as their trainer even though it is as fast as the Assassin because it is so stable and doesn't stall. If is designed to fly with the same radio, motor and battery as the Assassin. It is a great plane to fly with a streamer.
The kit includes the EPP foam cores, EPP elevons, 3 mil laminate, Formica motor mount base, stainless steel motor mount, iron on laminate covering, 2 horns, carbon spar, push rods, EZ connectors, a nylon shock cord, and instructions.
The Roswell has been chosen as the club trainer in a local RC club and they have bought dozens of them. Watch the videos to the right and you will see that it can also be built as a high performance plane that will delight the experienced fliers. It can be built with a front or mid motor. It can survive most abuse a new pilot dishes out.

The Roswell is made from tough EPP but is still light weight making it possible to fly slow for smaller flying fields. It will turn sharply without stalling making it easy to keep close. It can out-turn any of the combat wings for both aggressive and evasive maneuvers. It has a fully symmetrical wing making it fly as well upside down as right side up. It will do outside loops till the battery dies.
The Roswell has a 36" EPP symmetrical wing that is naturally slow and gentle. I cut most of my Roswells down to 30" for the performance. We give you the choice so you can decide if you want a trainer or a higher performance swept design. You can chose to have one rudder or two. You can decide if you want a nose mount motor or mid motor design.
The Roswell is easy to build and economical to fly and maintain. It will fly well with the $6 dollar CF2812 motor and budget batteries and ESCs. It is designed to protect the battery, radio, motor and other fliers. It has a shock cord like the EPP Assassin that adds to the strength.

It flies with almost no reflux to the elevons. All who have flown the plane and were impressed with it's quiet, stable, aerobatic performance.
We recommend the BP-21 or CF2812 motors with the 7x6 prop and the 3 cell 1300 lipo and a 20A ESC and HS 82 servos.
International shipping is about $35 on the Roswell box size so we give international customers the option of having the plane cut into smaller pieces to save more than half on the international shipping, as shown with the black foam core below. Planes shipped inside the USA have better postage options so all cores are left like the white foam core below. The pieces are easy to glue back together and do not affect the flying on the plane.
