The drop down price includes the plane when you look at the shipping options. We added express shipping to the shipping options. Some of the foreign orders have been delayed, especially in the UK, because of customs holding the package. All shipping estimates are according to the United States Post Office website, and it is a possibility that actual shipping will vary.
We accept Paypal but you can use a wide variety of credit cards without having a Paypal account. If you go to the cart it gives you two options for checkout. Select "View Cart", then select "Check Out", then select "Don't have a paypal account", and it will come up with a place to enter credit card information.
"Buy 5 kits get a 6th kit free". This is valid only for planes purchased at the same time. Crashtest We love your product.... There are six of us flying your wings. Four of us started flying three months ago. I'm taking my wife out today to fly my old wing, I cant belive the response I'm geting from friends and family and co workers let alone bystanders. I'm your best salesman. lol ! Just want to say thank you for such a great product and all the fun were having. The Idaho crew - 2Beers
From SEFF Fin-less EPP Assassin combat wing is the best out there,,I put Carbon fiber Toe imbedded in the leading edge and center wingspan,,web renforced 3/M tape on leading edge and ailerons,,won a combat at SEFF with this set-up (450outie 30 ESC 1300 25-30Clipo and beefy linkages) fun stuff!!!! Bubsteve
Here is the reaction of a fanatical flyer in our club to our new Hercules Gentle Giant designed for FPV. "Lee does a great job of coming up with new ideas, but I think this one will be a big old honking feather in his cap, and I'll bet he sells a lot of them. This is a great design. At one point he flew by and he said "yeah, I put a 2" trailer hitch ball on it to simulate (34 oz more) battery weight" and I laughed... I thought he was totally kidding. But then he landed and pulled off a giant metal ball and I was like "oh man, I hang around (local flyers) too much, I forgot how to take somebody seriously when they say something outrageous with a straight face. I'm definitely going to be in the market for one of those bigger FPV planes for those times when I want long flights, or very stable flights. Being able to land, taxi, and take off with an EPP wing is such a cool idea too. Great design Lee. Sounds like you've already sold quite a few to local FPV guys. You have a winner!!!!" Todd
Here is a description I like from a customer in San Antonio, Texas "When you hear a loud thud from across the field like Thor hitting his hammer on the ground from your buddy nosing one of these planes, you just know something has broken. The amazing part will be seeing him/her pick it up and launch it. These planes are like flying on the simulator and hitting reset after crashing. Amazing, but they also fly really well. The younger fliers really like them too. They have reinvigorated our small group. I think they are revolutionary." Cliff
From a local flyer. "Lee if your going to be flying at AD tomorrow make sure you bring a Widowmaker. I want one. I think Steve was drooling on himself the entire time he was flying it. Just like Homer Simpson thinking about donuts." Mike
Dear CrashTest, "I just purchased one of your Assassin kits, and I wanted to thank you for an awesome plane! I maidened it this afternoon, I got it trimmed and WOW! The most enjoyable plane I have ever flown! Your video instructions were great. Also, delivery was the best, it only took three days. Thank you again." Bradley
From England, "One of the members who had your wing put it into the ground Saturday and must have been doing 60 mph. He just picked it up, wiped the cow crap off and just threw it back into the air, cool!!!" Simon
From a combat flyer who has flown for 30+ years and owned 100+ planes, I flew the new Grim Reaper with embedded lights today at lunch and had a few wicked hits with it. (in combat) Oh yeah, it works great. Best big wing I've had yet. Darren
From a local flyer. I'm not sure if you remember me but I came by and picked up an Assassin kit. Absolutely fantastic!!! I have literally bounced one off the pavement at nearly full throttle and just picked it up, found the battery 20 yards away, taped the battery back in and flew it away! Flew perfect. Anyway, I would like to pick up a Titan or Grim Reaper. Jason
I hit a tree with my Assassin and broke off a 3/4" branch. I couldn't believe that it didn't destroy my new plane in fact it hardly left a mark. The plane flew again without any repair. John
From the UK Just to let you know that I have completed my Roswell and it flies great, even in a strong wind. Just had to put a few clicks of up elevator in on its first flight. Cut the motor and it glides for ever. Great plane, very pleased with it. Mike
These are some of the least expensive planes at our field but they are the ones that are getting the most air time and lasting the longest. Scott
From a customer in Kansas City, Missouri Today I did an A-B test between the XXXXXXXX and the Assassin with winds 15-20+ mph. The Assassin wins hands down, no comparison. By the way today I opened up the throttle on the Assassin and let it rip, this plane has more than enough speed to have a great deal of fun flying. Three of my friends are completing their Assassins now so I guess the real fun starts when we all get together. My son out flies most of the old ladies, oops I meant to say experienced R.C. pilots at our local flight fields. He has a blast and gets nothing but compliments. He doesn't want to fly his scale planes anymore as they are boring in contrast to the dynamics of the Assassin and I feel the same. Michael
From Canada, Hey, I just want you to know that I've been flying multiple things from high 3d performance electric helicopter (protos 500, trex 500, maxir), nitro helicopter, scratch built planes... BUT your Assassin is the ONE that gives me the most enjoyment so far. It is a stress less experience with decent speed and agility. The motor and prop suggestions are also perfect. Pat
From California, I have come to the conclusion that bigger is not always better. Completed the swept Scythe yesterday. Maiden flight today, and the only thing anyone could really say is, "WOW!" Fast, Fast, Fast and a joy to fly. Jason
From San Ramon California I just flew my new Reaper this morning and boy does it fly NICE! The recommended Turnigy motor could not have been a better match for the airplane. I'm flying with 4s 2200mah (30oz AUW, 550 watts). I doppler'd the top speed at around 70-80 mph. This airplane has unlimited vertical, good speed, handling, light wing loading - no bad tendencies at all! I could not be more happy with this airplane. Another Jason
From Youtube comments I'm just getting ready to cover a Widowmaker and Reaper. This will be my 4th Reaper. I still have the other 3 Reapers, all work great, some with more than 250 combat hits. The Reaper is the best flying wing I've ever flown or combated. The Widowmaker is pretty much just a smaller version of the Reaper and flies just as amazing. Thanks for the great planes Lee!!!! Scott
From Arizona Today I maidened the Scythe, wow what a great little airplane! Flew really well, fast, stable and quite the aerobatic performer. ...... I came in at 11 oz using a 1000 mah turnigy battery. Since I've been flying the Grim Reaper and the Assassin and now the Scythe, I must tell you that I've not enjoyed flying as much as I do now. These airplanes are the best thing I've ever flown. Thank you for all the great products you are offering to pilots! Paul Ph.D.
Went again to the field tonight. The guys that fly there are pretty serious with very expensive planes (like to XXXX them off with my cheap Assassin). It was 95 F in the shade at 7:30 I was the only one there until an older (85+) guy rode up on a scooter. He was an old Quicky 500 racer since the 60s but had never seen such a plane as an Assassin. We were chatting while I was flying and I told him that I would like to see how high I could fly it. So I took it straight up until I couldn't see it anymore (I have really good vision - so I thought). Anyway, I lost track of it. A minute or so later I could hear it far off when I punched the throttle. So I walked out into the woods and found it by sound. I just threw it back toward the field and flew for the rest of the battery while I walked back. He told me that that he has lost several planes in those woods over the years but was never able to bring one back in one piece. Later I crashed into the asphalt runway and again threw it back up in the air, seconds later. Again, his first experience with that. Without prodding, he told me that the Assassin looked like much more fun than anything else that he had seen in awhile. And he has seen many multi $ thousand planes. Cool airplane. Thanks! Randy
From PA We flew (our Reapers) again last night at a new field. There is a large walnut tree next to our runway, you just have to be careful. Well, I decided a high speed pass would thrill the crowd. Oops! Right smack into the tree in a high speed dive! Sheared off a 1/2" branch and dozens of walnuts rained down. I went over, removed the branch and launched my reaper. My neighbor who has yet to start his allowed as maybe he need to get it flying! That was some testament to their durability. Right after that, I let a new guy fly it to show him how easy it is. He flew it into the ground. Had to re-tape a fin. Gotta love it! Jim
From Houston TX. The Assassins we have been flying in combat are holding up Great!!! Try as we may, to kill an Assassin, we cannot! You might want to make it a bit weaker, to sell more kits! Thanks, Tony
A friend and I bought three of your Assassin kits and it's a fantastic plane. I am truly amazed at how little damage we get even on the most violent of crashes. Thank you for designing such a great plane. Alan
From Knoxville TN. If anybody doesn't know, these Reapers are 100% b@d@$$ !!! I have 2 not to mention a couple of other different planes by this company. If you want something that will survive a 70mph impact, protect your gear, and still be thrown back in the air minutes later, you need one of these. Bamabaxter
From Arizona Hey, Lee. I've been flying my Reaper like a mad man every chance I get. I love it. I added some blue LED to my Grim Reaper and took it out for a flight tonight. I have two lengths running on the top of the wing that I installed vertically tucked into the wing, and three 3-LED sections mounted on the bottom (exterior mount) to help me tell top from bottom. I hope you enjoy the video and feel free to use it if you like. You weren't kidding. With LED in the wing, it's the brightest thing in the sky! What a great way to beat the heat in Arizona at night! Eric (The video is posted to the right.)
From North Carolina I can see how (night combat) can be highly addictive (as if this hobby isn't addictive enough already). All of the guys at the club who bought the Assassin are completely hooked...myself included. In fact, I don't think anyone flew anything but Assassins all weekend. Well, while the sun was up anyway. None of us have put lights on an Assassin...YET. All of us love night flying and all are really excited about the combat thing now so I am sure it won't be long before the two merge... If we can get enough people in the area interested we may eventually have to put on our own little Un-civil War...The Southern Edition. Complete with Bonfires and Pig Pickin. Tony
From UK I flew 12 batteries through the Reaper tonight as the wind is now calm at a mere 5-6 mph I managed to get a better feel for it. ..... I like my planes crazy fast rolls very responsive vertical acceleration on anything over 60% throttle. The rolls are very axial as well and I could not improve on them with differential so switched it off. The Reaper will slow down to a nice fast walking pace with a small waggle as its on the edge of stalling but very controllable and this allows me to fly 6 foot of the deck low and slow with lights in the dark glowing on the floor and sheep as it goes. I was very surprised by the inverted performance and I flew 2 full batteries, inverted only needed a touch of elevator and flew well slow and fast inverted. Really really pleased with the Reaper. It is one xxxx of a plane. Elefant Man
From Tooele When u say fly more fix less, you're not kidding. You wouldn't believe what I've done to this thing the last 2 days. And the air frame is still perfect. I even got it out of a tree once. Matt
